Because of the product's fabric, it may sporadically shed. However, it is a standard process and is not considered a defect of the product.

Please note that due to the fact that the rug is handwoven, each piece may slightly differ in terms of colour, pattern and size (+/- 5-7 cm). This kind of variation is not considered a defect.

Maintenance Tips

  • For comfortable use we recommend airing out the unpacked rug for at least a few hours (ideally for one to two days). This allows the natural scent of the material to fade.
  • For tough stains scrape off the dirt from the surface and clean with a non-staining, damp cotton cloth. If necessary, use a carpet cleaning liquid. Do not overwet the rug and wipe dry after cleaning. Use only rug recommended cleaners. Contact an expert for tough stain removal.
  • Periodically, turn your rug 180 ̊ to ensure even wear and prevent fading caused by sun exposure.
  • Remove any stains immediately using a damp, non-staining cloth. Clean from the edge to the middle of the rug, do not rub.
  • Vacuum once a week on medium suction power using an upholstery attachment, in the direction of the pile.
