How is a waterbed built?

The main difference between a regular bed frame and a waterbed is the mattress - in case of waterbeds, water mattress instead of traditional foam or spring mattress. Because of that also the bed construction differs from slatted frame. Instead of slats, there is a platform base which you put inside the bed frame. Then the liner and mattress cover is put inside and finally a waterbed mattress. All of Beliani waterbeds also come with heaters so that you can enjoy the warmth on colder nights.

What are the water mattress types?

Waterbed mattresses are available in two primary types: mono and dual, each offering a distinct sleep experience. A mono mattress has one large water chamber, creating a classic wave-like effect that appeals to those who prefer the traditional feel of a waterbed. On the other hand, a dual mattress contains two separate chambers, letting couples adjust the firmness and temperature on each side individually, while also reducing motion transfer for an undisturbed night’s sleep.

A mono waterbed mattress is a single water chamber that holds the water in one large, undivided space.

A dual waterbed mattress consists of two separate water chambers side-by-side within the same bed.

How does a water mattress work?

After filling the water chamber with water it adjusts to the mattress shape offering an adjusted to the weight of the sleeper support. You can also use water heaters to give the mattress a comfortable temperature for sleeping, especially during winter. Each mattress has a water motion system, starting from full motion which offers a wave-like feeling to medium motion and strong reduction with internal barriers that reduces the water movements.
